Rebekah Reynolds
Rebekah has been animal-crazy since the time she could hold a pencil and draw all of the animals that lived on her imaginary farm, but dogs have always had a special place in her heart. She started training her Nintendogs from a young age, but at 15, her family got their very first dog, and she was finally able to teach fun tricks, build PVC agility equipment, and play frisbee with a real dog.
Rebekah now has three kiddos: Remi (8yo Golden Retriever), Murphy (4yo Border Collie), and Solo (7mo Border Collie). She actively trains and competes in agility/nosework, but also participate in disc, FastCat, herding, and treibball.
Rebekah’s educational background is in chemistry and she is passionate about teaching. She graduated with her B.S. in Chemistry from IUPUI in 2019 and finished her M.S. in Organic Chemistry at Northwestern University in 2022. Rebekah participated in every teaching opportunity that she could while at those universities. She completed her teaching certificate at Northwestern in 2022.
While Rebekah originally intended to become a professor, she realized that the lifestyle wasn’t exactly what she was looking for, and when the opportunity came up to combine my love of dogs with teaching, she took a leap of faith and completely switched tracks.
Rebekah is a CPDT-KA, CSCC, NATE judge, instructor, and skills evaluator, and an AKC CGC evaluator, fetch judge, and FIT DOG instructor.
