Jeanine’s love for dogs began at a young age, but it was in 2016, when she rescued Dory, that her life took a transformative turn. Dory immediately stole her heart and changed everything. Dory joined a home of four dogs and her high energy and bossy personality brought chaos. Determined to provide her with the best care, Jeanine enrolled her in a basic training class, and that's when her fascination with dog training took hold. Little did she know that this would be the start of an incredible journey. Dory and Jeanine ventured into various dog sports, earning over 25 titles and counting.
A few years later Jax joined the family. This experience taught Jeanine a valuable lesson in understanding each dogs’ individual needs and preferences. While she initially trained Jax in Agility, it became apparent that it wasn't his true passion, and his confidence began to waver. Determined to find the activity that would ignite his spirit, Jeanine ventured into the world of scent work. The transformation in Jax was remarkable—his confidence soared, and their bond became unbreakable. This experience reinforced Jeanine’s belief in the power of tailoring training to suit the unique characteristics of each dog. They are currently competing in NACSW and CPE and have earned multiple titles.
Scent work has become a particular passion of Jeanine’s. It is a game that any dog can enjoy, regardless of their goals. Whether you simply want to engage your dog's natural instincts, build confidence, or pursue more advanced scent work trials, your journey together will be filled with enjoyment!
