The Beginning: Audrey began training her first dog in the 4-H Dog Program when she was 8 years old. Her first dog, Ruby, was a Poodle mix with an attitude. Ruby was the perfect first dog. Audrey and Ruby accomplished many things through the Dog Project, and continued to compete in UKC, TDAA, and USDAA Agility Organizations. This team earned their first title (UAG1) when Audrey was 10 years old. Audrey's family rescued two Border Collies in 2001. After her introduction to herding breeds, she never looked back.

In 2005, Border Collie, Ty-Dye ,was added to the Carter Clan. Ty has earned Agility Titles through ASCA, AKC, and CPE. He also has his Novice Rally title through the AKC. Ty is Herding Instinct Tested.

After competing in performance events for years, Audrey decided to try her hand at Conformation and Junior Showmanship. In 2006, she added her first Australian Shepherd, Troy. He earned titles in ASCA, AKC, and CPE Agility, was titled in AKC and ASCA Obedience, and had AKC Rally titles. Troy was also an AKC Conformation Champion. He had 2 ASCA Majors. This team was invited to compete at the Eukanuba National Championships and Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in Junior Handling. Audrey was named the Top Junior Handler in Illinois in 2009. She and Troy were the #2 Junior in ASCA Obedience Rankings, and Troy was the #13 Novice Obedience Dog. This dog was a powerhouse and loved Audrey with every piece of his heart. Troy was taken far too early in a freak accident.

The Present: Audrey is currently competing with, Bright, her 2 Year Old Border Collie.

Audrey is a talented communicator and trainer. Audrey enjoys teaching workshops, helping others reach their potential, and showing people what their dogs can really do! Her classes are always fun, positive, motivational, and beneficial for both dog and handler.

Audrey is a certified Dog Trainer, Certified Professional Groomer, AKC ACT, Farm Dog, and CGC Evaluator, and a Certified Trick Dog Instructor - Two Time-All Star-Trainer of the Year, and a NADD Judge.
